Can I go shopping or work after a treatment?

You can continue with your daily activities after the treatment. And if you go shopping or working afterwards, you certainly can. After the treatment, there may be temporary redness or swelling at the site where the injections were placed. In a few cases, a small blue discoloration can be seen. This is harmless and does not affect the outcome of the treatment.

Will I see immediate results after the treatment?

No. The effect of the treatment will become visible after 2 to 3 days and is most beautiful after 1 to 2 weeks. The muscle is then relaxed and the skin has been able to recover.

After an average of 3 months, the Botox wears off and you can make a new appointment so that you continue to have the result.

What do I need to take into account after a treatment?

After the treatment, you can immediately continue with your daily activities. You will receive an aftercare form from us by e-mail immediately after your treatment and it contains some tips:

After the treatment, there may be temporary redness or swelling at the site where the injections were placed. In a few cases, a small blue discoloration can be seen. You can continue what you were doing immediately after the treatment.

What you have to keep in mind is that you do not massage the treated area for the first 8 hours after the treatment. You could then move the botox that has been injected to the muscle next to it, which can cause undesirable results.

Finally, we advise you not to do any intensive efforts during the first 24 hours after the treatment that cause you to sweat profusely and to postpone a visit to the sauna or tanning bed for a while. In theory, you could then sweat out the botox.

The effect of the treatment will become visible after 2 to 3 days and is most beautiful after 1 to 2 weeks. The muscle is then relaxed and the skin has been able to recover.

When can I not be treated?

We do not recommend the treatment for people with muscle diseases. And we don't treat women who are pregnant or breastfeeding

Does the result look natural?

Yes. After a wrinkle treatment with Botox, you can still slightly tighten the muscles. We listen carefully to what your wishes are. If you keep a natural result, then that will be the result. There are also people who like it when movement is no longer possible with the muscle that has been treated, that is also possible.

What happens to my wrinkles if I stop using Botox?

The effect of the treatment lasts up to 3 months on average. If you don't come back for another treatment, wrinkles and lines will slowly return in the months after your treatment.

Fillers

Are your fillers safe?

Yes. All products have a CE certification and meet the guidelines of the NVPC (Dutch Society for Plastic Surgery) and the NVCG (Dutch Association of Cosmetic Medicine). The manufacturers of our fillers have of course tested the fillers very well. Hundreds of thousands of treatments have now been done with these fillers and it is labeled as very safe by the industry.

Why are your fillers relatively cheap?

We want to make our treatments accessible to everyone and that is why we have chosen to earn less from filler treatment than many of our colleagues. We buy our products in bulk and negotiate competitive purchase prices. This allows us, despite the fact that we work with high-quality products, to offer very competitive prices.

What is a liquid facelift?

A facelift without surgery, also known as the liquid facelift. By treating a number of areas at the same time, for example the frown line with Botox and the jawline and nasolabial fold with fillers, it is possible to achieve the effect of a mini facelift.

Can I switch to another brand of filler without any problems?

Yes, you can use different brands of fillers without any problems. All brands of fillers we work with are based on hyaluronic acid and you can use these brands interchangeably without any problems. If you have any questions about this or if you have any doubts, please feel free to contact us.

Do you use permanent fillers?

Nurses Inc. does not use permanent fillers! In the Netherlands, the general advice of the Dutch Society for Cosmetic Medicine is not to use permanent fillers.

When should you not have wrinkle treatment?

If there is a pimple in the place where the prick is to be performed, we will not be able to perform the treatment. If there are serious muscle diseases such as ALS, myasthenia gravis, or Lambert-Eaton syndrome, we unfortunately cannot treat you either. In addition, you also have to wait a while before a treatment until after your pregnancy and if you are breastfeeding, we unfortunately cannot help you for a while.

Unfortunately, we cannot treat people with an allergy to wasp stings. People with an allergy to wasp stings almost always have an allergic reaction to the fluid Hyason. This is the liquid with which we can dissolve a filler. Fortunately, this is almost never necessary, but in an extremely rare case it can happen that the filler ends up in a blood vessel and then the filler has to be dissolved with Hyason. To exclude all risks, we therefore do not treat people with an allergy to wasp stings.

How long does a treatment take?

A filler treatment takes an average of 15-30 minutes. A Botox treatment takes an average of 10 minutes.

Can I go back to shopping or work after treatment?

Yes. At the place where the injections were given, the skin may be a bit red and swollen. This will disappear quickly on its own. A bruise may appear in the thin skin. This is easy to camouflage with make-up.

Do I have to follow certain rules of life after treatment?

In the first few days after the treatment, we do not recommend a visit to a beautician, sauna or solarium. After the treatment, until the next day, we advise you not to use make-up because of the risk of infection. You will receive an aftercare form from us by e-mail after your treatment.

Why do fillers break down after 6 to 12 months?

Hyaluronic acid is a substance that is present in our body for a short period of time, within 4 days our body breaks down hyaluronic acid under the influence of certain enzymes.

To allow you to enjoy the benefits of the hyaluronic acid for longer, fillers are processed to make the product last longer. The manufacturer does this by adding so-called crosslinkers. This not only increases the lifespan but also the hardness of the filler for a greater ability to give volume and lift. The added crosslinkers block the access of the enzymes, which are out to dissolve the hyaluronic acid.

Unfortunately, adding crosslinkers doesn't just have advantages. Processing filler with crosslinkers can be harmful to our health in certain forms and certain quantities. Crosslinkers should therefore be added as little as possible. It is therefore very important that manufacturers use the correct, approved crosslinkers and in the right quantities.
