You will notice a difference about a week after your treatment and the result will be optimal after 2 weeks. The effect lasts about 3 months. In the months after treatment, the botox is slowly broken down by the body.

Before the treatment, the skin is marked with a white pencil where the Botox will be injected. The botox is injected with a thin needle. This treatment takes about 15 to 20 minutes and is not painful.

Waar moet ik op letten na de behandeling van mijn oksels?

After the treatment, there may be some temporary redness or swelling at the site where the injections were made. Very occasionally a small blue discoloration can be seen. You can continue with what you were doing immediately after the treatment. ​

What you need to keep in mind is that you do not massage the area for the first 8 hours. You could then move the Botox to the muscle next to it. We also advise you not to do intensive training during the first 24 hours after the treatment that will cause you to sweat profusely and to postpone a visit to the sauna or tanning bed. In theory you could then sweat out the botox.
The effect of the treatment will slowly become noticeable after a week and will be most optimal after 2 weeks.
