What exactly does Botox do?
Botox (botulinum toxin) temporarily relaxes specific facial muscles that are responsible for wrinkles caused by repeated movements, such as frowning, smiling, or raising the eyebrows. By relaxing these muscles, the skin and underlying tissue are given time to rest, allowing lines to soften and the skin to appear smoother.
